I remember the point at which I decided using gay as an insult was really stupid and yet I still use words like "rape" when gaming and I'm sure there are other words I use that I shouldn't. I definitely feel like I'm getting better at this, but certainly this article and the ones you've linked to have made me more determined to stop it completely.
